I had reserved a spot for dinner as it was Mother&#39;s Day and I wasn&#39;t sure how full the restaurant would be. We were promptly seated in a quiet corner where we both decided to order the Sunday Roast. I chose the chicken and it was absolutely delicious.The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.And I felt the prices were quite reasonable in comparison to other venues where we had eaten. I&#39;m not sure what other options there are for dinner in the area, but the Inn at Kew Gardens restaurant is definitely a great choice.

Their mince pies were the best I&#39;ve ever tasted! Melt in the mouth pastry and just the right amount of filling. Delish warmed in the oven at home!

We really enjoyed it . The table was lovely, our servers were attentive and food was very delicious. Will go again, and recommend to friends.

We enjoyed a sensational Sunday lunch ch yesterday at the City Barge. Our first lunch outing to a pub since lockdown and very much enjoyed. My belly pork was absolutely delicious. Timothy Taylor Landlord was served at a perfect temperature and the Cote du Rhone slid down well.

The four of us had lunch here after visiting Kew Gardens and although it is a slight walk from the main gate it is well worth the detour. The lunch was freshly prepared and delicious and staff very welcoming and friendly.

A group of seven of us decided to have a meeting and dinner at the Inn at Kew gardens. When we arrived staff were friendly but it took a long time to get our beer. The beer was excellent. We then went into the dining room and ordered fairly promptly. However, the food took a long time to arrive and some of the items had run out, notably the roast lamb. When the food did arrive (I had fish and chips) it was passable but the wait was really unacceptable. It is a shame because the pub was very busy and could have been so much better.

This pub, or as they call it, a hotel, has been my local for a long time. Currently the staff have been trained to look after the tourist and not the locals. Seems a bit bizarre considering when the tourists aren&#39;t here the locals will always be and that&#39;s where their income will come from. Moreover when somebody asks another person to stop their dog from barking, they &#39;bar&#39; the person for asking, threatening them with all sorts of malarkey, including with calling the police. Very odd! Emy (spelling) only worthwhile member of staff to talk about.

Very welcoming and considerate staff. Starters were excellent. Food was tasty and plentiful. We would recommend this restaurant for a relaxing meal out.
